As you are aware, Terry and I have had three (3) experiences selling homes in Toronto, the first and second were very upsetting experiences. Listing with you is quite a contrast.
When selecting a sales person, we asked that the candidates meet with us prepared to demonstrate how they would sell the house. You didn’t waste time with listings; you came prepared with sales pamphlets and brochures, including information from a professional stager. You even took the time to photograph the house prior to the meeting.
During the interview, you demonstrated your knowledge and experience with the Leaside area, suggesting a price that was appropriate. You did not try to buy the listing, nor did you suggest going low to attract candidates that weren’t qualified for the real market price or to generate a bidding war.
You listened to the dates that we needed to list and sell and respected our decision not to go overboard using a stager. The suggestions you made were all that was necessary. It was a great relief to have the house sold in one week for full list price.
